The Perfect Snack Situation


When I do my grocery shopping for the week, I make sure to have some bars on hand for easy grab n go snacks.  Because sometimes you just gotta #grabngo you know??  Granola bars sometimes don't do much for me so I like to get bars that I know will satisfy me.

You can ask my family and they will tell you how I've NEVER liked the taste of protein bars.  When I can taste the protein powder, I just can't do it.  I know some people love that but it just does not appeal to me. 

BUT, I found these bars.  I forget how I first heard about them.  Anyway, they are called Perfect Bars.  To me, they're perfect!  {haha, puny, I know}


They taste so delicious and do not even have the faintest powdery taste like so many other bars.  They are in the refrigerated section of the grocery store because they're bougie like that hehe.

Back to my grocery shopping excursions {if you don't already know by this post, I love to grocery shop}...before I go to the store, I like to look at recipes that sound good to me.  Then, I'll add ingredients I may need to my list.  I'll look at Pinterest or other all foods fit bloggers for some ideas.

Then, I'll think about what kind of #SNACKS sound good! For me, in addition to some bars, peanut butter pretzels are a staple.  That salty goodness gets me every timee.


I also really like Perfect Bar's Brownie Walnut Bar when I'm craving something on the sweet side but I still need some protein.  It's a good mid-day pick me up to get between that lunch and dinner gap.  I'll also go for a pastry or "actual" brownie, but those perfect bar brownies are delicious too...all equally great!  Those afternoon zzz's can get ya if you don't give your body some extra fuel to keep going!

I've also had some friends crumble up Perfect Bars on top and it looks so delicious and satisfying so I definitely want to try that soon!
